8-1  Well, there isn't anything new or exciting to add here at this time.  It's just hot and muggy as he--!!!!  Typical weather for this time of year, but this is the best boating and skiing temperatures (in my opinion).  Heat index today was 105 to 110 (gag!!).  Best place to be is on the lake!!!  See you out there!!

7-25  The ski club is hosting the INT tournament  this weekend, it usually starts around 9:00 or 9:30 am, Saturday and Sunday.  The public is welcome to come out to the ski club to watch

I now have my website at governorbondlake.com.  That is easy to remember if you want to tell a friend about it!  I also own greenvillelake.com which forwards to governorbondlake.com.  This should make it much easier for all of us.

I have information on two lake homes and one lot that are for sale on my Barb's Lake Listings page if you are interested in property on the lake.

7-19  We had about 7/10's inch of rain at my house this week,  we didn't get any of the rain that went through a week ago, so it is still pretty dry around the lake and has been hot and muggy.  We seem to have settled into the our usually steamy summer--but that's the best boating weather isn't it!!!!  No better place to be than on the lake when it's in the 90's and 70% humidity!!!!

The purple martins have nested and their young are starting their new lifes. They are such wonderful birds!!  Look for them soaring through the sky and skimming the lake surface for water.  See purplemartin.org.
